~*Cupido*~

Cupido - dead he is!
Weep and mourn his death,
That cannot be compensated.
Cupido - the one so wise,
Was killed with cowardice
By mankind, oversaturated.

II

The master of love sublime
Was just a victim of our time,
Dominated by soulless Casanovas.
O Cupido - Love's God,
Thou condemnest us not,
But beheldst us, eternal lovers.

III

Protector of truth - now perished,
By myself a lifetime cherished,
Will be missed by no one.
Cupido - love's divine relation,
Had to suffer craven assassination,
Planned by comfortable, bitter man.

IV

O Cupido - son of Venus,
Do arise and do save us
From this hellish human heaven.
