I went to a party mum,
I remembered what you said.
You told me not to drink mum,
So i drunk coke insted.
I felt really proud mum,
Even though the others said i should.
I know i did the right thing mum,
I know your always right.
Now the party's finally ending mum,
The way u said i would.
I didnt drink and drive mum,
As everyone drives out of site.
As i get into my car mum,
And pull out onto the road.
The other guy didnt see me mum,
And hit me like a load.
As i lie here on the footpath mum,
I hear the policeman say.
The other guy was drunk mum,
And im the one who'll pay.
I'm lying here dying mum,
I wish you'd get here soon.
How this happened to me mum,
My life burst like a balloon.
Most of it is mine mum i hear the policeman say,
I'll be dead in a short time,
I just wanted to tell you mum,
I swear i didnt drink.
It was the others mum, the others didnt think.
He didnt know where he was going mum,
He was probabley at the same party as i.
The only difference is mum,
He drunk and i will die.
Why do people drink?
It can ruin your whole life.
Im feeling sharp pains now mum,
Pains just like a knife.
The guy who hit me is walking mum,
While all he can do is stare.

And when i go to heaven mum,
Write daddys little girl on my grave.
Somone should have told him mum,
not to drink and drive.
